About The Author
Del Wheeler
Del Wheeler is a Vietnam-era veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard who went on to build a long career in computer science and engineering. After earning his degree in the mid-1990s, he developed advanced industrial software and later designed weighing systems for the poultry industry using SolidWorks 3D CAD. His fascination with superconductors and their potential to change the world inspired him to begin writing speculative fiction rooted in both science and imagination.
A lifelong admirer of Star Trek and Stargate, Wheeler creates stories that balance technical realism with human depth. “Beyond the Gravity Well” is his debut novel, combining his engineering background with an interest in the moral and philosophical questions surrounding technology. He is currently working on The Echo of Harmony, continuing a universe built on curiosity, resilience, and the spirit of exploration.
